COPD is a condition where patients suffer of Shortness of Breath. It starts as early as in the mid-40ies with patients feel out of breath after climbing stairs. 90% of patients with COPD are smoking or have a smoking history.
COPD is a condition which results in multiple chest infections, wheeziness, chest tightness, coughing. In extreme cases patients cannot lie down to sleep and need Oxygen. However, amazing improvements can be achieved at ANY stage of the disease.
So if you have COPD or you suffer frequent chest infections in Winter with wheeziness or you feel quite short of breath when doing minimal exertion and you have a history of smoking this event is for you.

Easthampstead Baptist Church, Nov 17th. Registration at 18:45 for a prompt start at 19:00. Please be aware in the unlikely event of very high numbers of registrations parking may be unavailable at the venue for some patients and parking opportunities at the nearby Leisure Centre may have to be utilised. This means you may have to allow time to walk / drop off patients.
