Who is behind NHS Events?

Dr Martin Kittel, a GP at Forest Health Group and a board member for East Berks CCG. He is responsible for the content of this website. He is supported by the Patient Participation Group (PPG) of Forest Health Group. Forest Health Group has a strong history of patient information events. These are usually supporting patients learning about certain conditions. All these events are free to patients. All people working for the Patient Participation Group are volunteers. There is also a separate section for the B&A wide patient forum. They hold responsibility for their own section

What happened so far?

So far, we have carried out events on Respiratory Conditions, Arthritis, Diabetes, Childhood Illness, and Dementia on several occasions. We have also supported other events locally via our Newsletters. Other PPGs also run separate events, which we promote. Furthermore, we also promote free local activities to do with health and wellbeing. Finally, we are trying to publish and promote health resources useful for patients health and self care.

Who is this website for?

This website is an information tool for patients of Bracknell Forest and Ascot.
